Riverside Park & the High Line
My uncle in-law Will lives and breathes New York and took us on a tour from Riverside Park to the Highline, through Greenwich Village where, with weary legs and hungry stomaches, we stopped at the legendary John's Pizza for slices and a pitcher of cold beer.
Bushwick
This trip also gave me a chance to reconnect with my old friend and fellow Vassar alumn Margaret and her husband Steve who hosted us in their Brooklyn apartment near Bushwick. We had a blast catching up as usual.
