A cold jump into the icey waters of Lake Michigan is always a great way to start the new year.

Temperatures were just above freezing at 36° but the lakefront wind gusts reachng 30 miles per hour made the plunge feel a bit colder. This year I found myself with Kate and friends in Sheboygan, Wisconsin who all joined me for the plunge.
