A weekend visiting old friends Scott and Elsa.

Scott drove us out to a nice spot to hike amongst Wisconsin's fall foliage.

Elsa provided some entertainment along the way.

Back home Elsa donned her Pippi Longstocking costume!

The neighborhood soon came alive with trick or treaters!

We were hunkered down and ready to pass out treats!

Kate bedazzled!

A solid assortment.

... but Kate preferred snacking on fresh popcorn.

Cool claws, but I wondered if they got in the way of hunting for candy.

A low-effort costume this year, but I tried to make up for it with a bowl of candy!

Trick or treat?

(nobody opted for the brussel sprouts)
