Slickrock Mountainbike Trail

We chose to walk in and watch the experienced bikers.

We spot our first biker who zooms past us.

By now, we'd become pretty experienced at finding shaded spots in the often-shadowless desert landscape.
This skill came in handy as we found a cool spot to camp out and watch the mountain bikers.

Okay, this is getting a little ridiculous — today it reached 109 degrees.

After a long day of hiking, we returned to Slickrock to watch the sun set.

A group of late evening bikers head in for the night.




We ended our night with a stop at Woody's, a local favorite.
