San Diego Automotive Museum
I was fortunate to visit while a special Porsche exhibit was on display.
There were a number of other classic sports cars on display as well.
I'll take that red one on the end...
The future is bright. Bright red.
Italian Muscle
American Muscle
... and the kind of muscle you never knew existed.
Welcome to Louie Mattar's Fabulous Car!! It has all the necessary hygenic and living conveniences for non-stop cross-country driving. It can refuel, change oil, add water, change tires, inflate tires and telephone without stopping!
Truly, this is a worthy centerpiece of the San Diego Automotive Museum.
Yeah sure, but can it cut through a penny or get rid of greasy stains?
With a built-in electric stove, ironing board and shower, it would be an injustice to drive this car without wearing the uniform.
Oh the places we'll go. A smoking pipe is conveniently located at the center
dashboard above the communications center. And when you're ready for happy hour, head on over to Louie's Bar to pour yourself a glass of whisky, soda or water.
The rest of this fine automobile notwithstanding, this engine makes Frankenstein's patched-together monster look like a Greek God.
There were also a few bikes on display.
