Neahkahnie Mountain Hike

There were a lot of switchbacks that took us back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and
back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back
and forth and back and forth and back and forth
and back and forth and back and forth and
back and back and forth
and back and forth and back and forth and
back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and
back and forth and back and forth
                                                      and back and forth and
                                back and forth

And then there was one final scramble to get the the real top.

Pacific Oyster

Back for seconds.

Holy Crustaceans!

Those aren't rocks, they're oyster shells!

It's amazing to watch how fast they get de-shelled.

Crab cakes are served with a smile.

Fish n' Chips.

Tillamook Country Smoker

“I'll have 50 pounds and a few hundred feet of beef jerky please!”

Kate deliberates between standard and skewered jerky. We ended up getting 1 lb. of each.

This place has is all: Natural style, soft and tender style, meat sticks, beef steak nuggets, jerky chew and more!

2-foot sticks of fresh jerky for a buck a piece!!

Like a kid in a candy store.

Winner.

I'm pretty sure that Kate is having an orgasm in her mouth in this photo.

50 bucks got me a good sampling that should last me until my next visit.

Bill's Tavern at Cannon Beach

One of our favorite spots along the coast.

Our favorites include the Premium Blonde, Weisbeer, ReSession Ale,
Pale Ale, IPA, Rudy's Red, and the Dunkelweizen though all are terrific.

The sampler is advised.

This trip we upgraded from the "napkin game" to filling in pages in our "642 Things to Draw" book.

My entry for "an eyeball"

Kate works on "a snorkle"

It ends up being a collaborative effort.
